Bus Terminal Union Station

Transforming the Bus terminal at the District’s Union station into the central location for regional and national bus service required additional facilities for customers using the different bus lines. MCE provided MEP engineering services for addition of a Waiting area, Ticketing offices and public bathroom facilities structures on the Bus terminal level of the Union station. Each building was provided with dedicated heating, ventilating and air conditioning system. Electrical power was provided from the Bus terminal main electrical room and was individually metered. Domestic water and sanitary lines was also extended from the main domestic and sanitary lines serving the Amtrak level of the Union station.
