MCE provided MEP design services for conversion of an existing lower level book store in Pryzbyla University Center of the Catholic University into Murphy’s lounge, a full service restaurant and bar.
New Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system was provided to augment the existing air conditioning system to condition the new lounge. New grease hood and make-up air unit was provided. New gas fire place was vented to outside.
New lighting and lighting control systems were provided to meet space use and code requirements. New electrical transformers and panelboards were designed to provide power for additional loads
