MCE provided MEP design services for conversion of an existing book store in Pryzbyla University Center of the Catholic university into a student lounge.
New Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system was provided to augment the existing air conditioning system to condition the new lounge. New gas fired place was vented to outside.
New gas piping was provided for the new gas fire place. Gas piping was sized to have sufficient capacity for future full kitchen facility.
New lighting and lighting control systems were provided to meet space use and code requirements. New electrical transformers and panelboards were designed to provide power for additional loads and have space capacity for future kitchen facility.
New fire alarm devices were provided.
