Indian Creek School founded in 1973 added a 96,000 square foot upper school on a 114 acre campus in Crownsville, Maryland in 2005. A new 32,000 SF middle school is planned to be added to the existing upper school.
MC ENGINEERS provided MEP engineering for the new 32,000 SF middle school addition to the upper school.
Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) system with dedicated outside air roof top unit is designed to provide energy efficient ondemand heating and cooling for various spaces.
Existing domestic water service is expanded to provide domestic cold water tho the new middle school by use of domestic water booster pumps. New domestic hot water heaters and piping is added to supply the middle school with domestic hot water.
Existing fire pump is upgraded and extended to the new middle school. The phase I sprinkler systerm will be extended to provide coverage for the phase II & III.
The existig electrrical service is upgraded to provide sufficient power for the middle school. New power districution and lighting is provided throughout.
Existing fire alarm system is upgraded to provide coverage for the new middle school.
