HVAC Scope: New variable air volume built-up roof top units with fan powered variable air volume terminal units with hot water heating coils. Utilized existing hot water piping to provide hot water to new fan powered variable air volume terminal units.
Plumbing Scope: New plumbing fixtures. New sanitary waste and vent piping. New domestic water distribution to new plumbing fixtures. New science lab chemical waste and vent system. New science labs domestic water and natural gas piping. New 2 psi gas piping to all gas fired mechanical units.
Electrical Scope: Coordinated PEPCO primary transformer replacement and ductbank routing. New 480/277 volt, 3 phase power upgrade with new switchboards to provide power to renovation area and existing areas to remain. New lighting and power distribution. New diesel emergency generator to provide power to elevator, fire pump and other life safety systems.
Fire Protection Scope: New fire alarm system. New sprinkler system with fire pump to provide sprinkler coverage throughout the school.
