Charlestown, West Virginia
MCE provided MEP engineering for the Public Services Commission building in Charlestown, West Virginia. The project involved replacing the entire exterior masonry building facade with a new skin due to deterioration.
MCE analyzed various insulated skin components using Trane Trace modeling program to compare and meet or exceed the 2012 International Building Code and Energy Code requirements. The existing mechanical system was modified to match the new exterior component.
Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering were provided to incorporate the new envelope.
